Our Library is our passport to the resources and tools we need to succeed.
Let’s give Pikes Peak Library District the resources it needs to serve our families.
Our libraries are critical to the success of our community. Families count on the Library to help our kids accelerate their learning; small businesses and job seekers look to the Library for resources to succeed; and countless nonprofits, community groups, and businesses rely on the library for meeting and event spaces.
The last time our Pikes Peak Library District received additional funding from voters was 1986. El Paso County was half the size it is today and many of the neighborhoods PPLD serves today weren’t event built. It’s time to ensure our Library has the resources to serve our growing region for another generation.
When we vote YES to support our libraries it will allow PPLD to:
Increase access to library services that improve childhood literacy and development
When we improve library funding, PPLD will be able to expand programs that improve childhood literacy, provide free college prep, and give access to tutoring programs, all at no cost to Library card holders and patrons.
Expand the library’s physical and virtual collections
From books and magazines, genealogy databases, museum and park passes , and gardening tools; our Library’s collections provide us with access to resources that may be otherwise hard to find. Improving funding for our library will allow for even greater collections and information…bringing the world even closer to our fingertips.
Create more community spaces for nonprofits, businesses, and community groups
During the pandemic, we all learned how important it is to have fast internet and technology. Many families count on PPLD for access to broadband internet and computers. Giving our Library more funding will expand technology access, ensuring more families are connected to opportunity and information.

A vote for our Library is an investment in the success of our entire region. Voting YES for our Pikes Peak Library District is a vote to support our children’s future, a vote to support our small businesses and entrepreneurs, and a vote to support our nonprofits, churches, and other community groups who count on our Library for community spaces.
